Valuable Lessons

Most folks know that prior to my career as a real estate agent that I worked as a park ranger for the National Park Service.  Some folks know that I used to race bicycles growing up and coached a youth cycling team for a while as well. But few of my clients know the strong influence that the Boy Scouts had on me growing up.
I joined Cub Scouts in 2nd grade and joined Boy Scouts at the age of 12.  I earned my way up the ranks and eventually earned my Eagle Scout at the age of 18. (Only 2% of all Boy Scouts earn the Eagle Scout rank due to the large community service project required.)

Scout Law

But what does being a Boy Scout have to do with real estate? Everything I think.

Could real estate agents do worse than following the Scout Law? Read this list and tell me if these are values you are looking for in a real estate agent.
A Scout is:

Trustworthy
Loyal
Helpful
Friendly
Courteous
Kind
Obedient
Cheerful
Thrifty
Brave
Clean
Reverent
