Leavenworth Windermere – Not Leaving Town!

Windermere real estate in Leavenworth is not leaving town despite rumors to the contrary.
In  these tough economic times the owners of the local office have decided to cut costs by minimizing the amount of rent paid for office space.
We will no longer be using the space at 1133 Highway 2 in Leavenworth.

Here’s where it gets tricky though…
The Washington State Department of Licensing has very strict rules about what a real estate office can and cannot be. Much of it has to do with location of files and real estate licenses, brokers, designated brokers and managing brokers. (Minutiae that you probably could care less about.)
To meet those requirements, our official office is now the Windermere office in Wenatchee. This is the office where I got my start and where I actually studied for my real estate license years ago.
Windermere is negotiating getting a smaller space in Leavenworth for agents to meet clients and to house office essentials like a fax machine, computer, printer, etc.  Due to state licensing requirements, it will not have a Windermere sign.
Allyson and I are in the process of rennovating a home office which will be the nerve center for our operations.
Mostly we will continue to market properties in all the efficient ways we know how – through the Internet, through top notch marketing materials, through our wide network of colleagues in and out of real estate. And we will continue to spend our time out in the market with clients looking at homes.
If you want a tour of our new home office – give us a shout. We’d love to share it with you.
