Windermere’s Leavenworth Team Joins NWMLS

Windermere Real Estate /NCW recently joined the Northwest Multiple Listing Service which is the main listing service for western Washington from Bellingham to Olympia.

For a number of years we have had clients ask us to “co-list” their house with a Windermere agent in the Seattle area to get increased exposure for their home. Honestly, the results were pretty underwhelming, but nonetheless we will now be able to enter all of our listings in this MLS as well as the local North Central Washington MLS that drives most of our business here in Leavenworth.
There are a few bonuses to adding our listings to the NWMLS. Our listings will now appear on a few additional websites that are popular with the Seattle tech crowd: Redfin and Estately. (I won’t make any critique about either of the unique business models these sites use, but I will say that both have done enormous work in the online world of real estate search and I thank them both for raising the bar on that front.)
A few companies in the Wenatchee area are also members of the NWMLS, but currently only Windermere has the only agents in Leavenworth who can get your home listed in both directories.
For our current clients who have homes for sale with us, thanks for your patience and understanding as we get each of your homes moved over to the NWMLS. Our apologies for the additional paperwork too. (It wouldn’t be real estate if there wasn’t paperwork involved right?)
