Small cottage built in 1898, this home was a foreclosure.  It had been on the market twice before it went to the bank.  The first time it was listed in 2010, for $224,000, and was on the market 403 days.  Next it was listed as a short sale at $135,000, and was on the market for 130 days.





225 West Benton, Leavenworth225 West Benton Street, Leavenworth

List price: $244,900.  Sold price: $225,000.

This home was built in 1916 and has a large detached garage.  The listing shows zero days on market and was not actively advertised on the multiple listing service.

List price: $324,900.  Sold price: $303,000.

This home had been on the market since August 2008 with an original list price of $479,500.  Although the parcel has nice flat acreage, the railroad tracks run right behind this home.

List price: $349,500.  Sold price: $345,000.

Newer construction rambler built in 2007.  This home originally came on the market May 2011 with a list price of $364,500 and then went off the market in Nov.  It came back on the market in March and went under contract in 7 days.  It last sold in 2008 for $313,900.

List price: $499,000.  Sold price: $460,000.

A two story lake front  home with basement shop/boat storage built in 1979.  There is also a detached office/bunk room.  Excellent view of the lake, a dock, and boat winch.  The home first came on the market in August 2011 for $560,000 and was off the market for about 3 months.  The access driveway is fairly steep.
