Village Art in The Park, Downtown Leavenworth

The Pacific Northwest's longest continually- running outdoor art show starts the 2014 season Friday May 2 and continues through October 19th. Thursdays will be added during the month of July and August.  Show hours will be 9 am – 6 pm.

Have fun while the Lions Club prepares your breakfast with eggs, sausage, pancakes, coffee and milk.

Every Friday in Sept:  Happy Hour Float with the Leavenworth Outdoor Center - 321 9th Street, Leavenworth WA, 98826

You get a guided SUP or Kayak trip down the Icicle River, which ends with beer (or wine) and live music at Der Hinterhof, a local hotspot! Time 5:30 - 7:30 Fees 40.00 couple - 25.00 single


Sept 3-7 : 19th Annual Leavenworth Quilt Show - Festhalle - 917 Commercial StreetLeavenworthWA,98826

Hundred of quilts displayed in various shops and visitors can meander throughout the show enjoying antique quilts, wearable quilted art, wall quilts, table runners and new quilts. The Festhalle will house the winning quilts. Time  10-5                            Fees: $5 for all 3 days (Festhalle Show)

This 2-day tournament is not only fun but is a fundraiser for Junior golf programs through the Leavenworth Golf Course.

A book for hikers, nature lovers, plant geeks, and anyone who wants to identify and learn about plants from a professional botanist with extensive experience.

Sept 27th: A Sentimental Journey Gala Event - Icicle Creek Center for the Arts, 7409 Icicle Road, Leavenworth WA 98826

Enjoy a live 1940’s-themed program featuring a rousing live auction, a silent auction, dinner catered by Ivy Wild and complimentary wine. Journey with us as we reminisce about and celebrate the growth and many accomplishments of Icicle Creek Center for the Arts. Celebrate the highlights to come in our near future.

September 26th-28th: 51th Autumn Leaf Festival and Parade - Leavenworth

This is Leavenworth's longest running event.  The Autumn Leaf Festival celebrates the turning colors of the Autumn Leaves and is the town's original festival; originating in 1964 when the City of Leavenworth adopted the Bavarian theme. Don't miss the parade that starts at noon on Saturday Sept 27th.

Ellen will be signing her new book Trees and Shrubs of the Pacific Northwest.

Sept 27th: Valley Trout Unlimited Conservation/Military banquet, Leavenworth Festhalle,

Full prime rib dinner with live & silent auction & raffle, proceeds dedicated to local conservation projects & Trout Unlimited Healing Waters.  Reservations required, 509-548-5522 or 548-7662.
