December 07 - January 13: Icicle Arts Gallery Opening--Icicle Arts Gallery
Icicle Arts Gallery presents Wenatchee artist Majka Sadel's "Talking Orchid" on display. 10am-4pm, FREE.
January 06: Ski for Health Day—Icicle River Trail
Learn to Ski with Leavenworth Winter Sports Club and free Nordic rentals, lessons & trail passes! Outdoor retailers and fitness experts on site. 12-3pm, FREE.
January 18: Red Barn Friday “The Salmon Forest”—Beach Barn Reserve
Enjoy a 50 minute film with stunning cinematography detailing the connection between wildlife and people in the Pacific Northwest followed by a short presentation and discussion regarding local waterways and wildlife. 7-9pm, FREE.
January 19-20: Bavarian Ice Fest—Leavenworth Village
A weekend of outdoor events includes snow sculpture, tug o' war, an ice cube scramble for kids six and under, the great Frisbee sweep, and Leavenworth's famous Smooshing Contest.
January 19: Skirennen Citizen Race—Golf Course Trails
Leavenworth Winter Sports Club hosts mass start Nordic races for 10, 2, 1 km. Avoid late fee, register online. 9-11:30am, $8-$25.
January 19: KOHO Chili Cook-off—Leavenworth Ski Hill
Local professional chefs battle it out in this event hosted by Leavenworth Winter Sports Club. Judges needed. First come, first serve. 12-1:30pm, FREE.
January 19: Winter Piano Festival: Faculty Concert —Canyon Wren Recital Hall
Experience the musical magic of Oksana Ezhokina, Christina Dahl, Gilbert Kalish and Seth Knopp. In conjunction with Icicle Creek Center for the Arts Winter Piano Festival. 7:30pm, $20 general admission, $16 students.
January 20: Snowshoe Demo and Relay Races—Leavenworth Ski Hill
Leavenworth Winter Sports Club hosts MSR and Atlas snowshoe demo with relay races. Winners receive a tube park pass. 10:30am-1:30pm, FREE.
January 20: Winter Piano Festival: Student Concert—Canyon Wren Recital Hall
Enjoy this free concert by the students of Icicle Creek Center for the Arts Winter Piano Festival. 3pm, FREE.
January 24: Full Moon Ski—Icicle River Trail
Join O'Grady's Pantry & Leavenworth Winter Sports Club for this month’s late night ski and dinner specials. Show your season pass or trail pass to receive discounts. 5-8pm, Trail Fees Required to ski, dinner $7.50 kids & $15 adults.
January 25: Nissebakken Telemark Race—Ski Hill
Leavenworth Winter Sports Club hosts the Giant Slalom Nissebakken Telemark Race. Prizes for the best 70’s disco costume and the first 25 to register. Proceeds benefit the Junior Alpine Team. Register from 5- 5:30pm, race at 6pm, $20-$25
January 27: Burns Night Supper—Sleeping Lady Resort
Celebrate the life and poetry of Robert Burns and a traditional Ayrshire Burns Supper from Scottish Executive Chef Ken MacDonald of the clan macDonald. 6pm, $16 kids & $39 adults.

February 3: Chicks on Sticks— Icicle Trails at the Leavenworth Fish Hatchery
Join Leavenworth Winter Sports Club for this WOMEN'S only event. This 8km ski event is great for skiers of all abilities and participants can skate, classic ski or snowshoe. Proceeds will be donated to The Wellness Place in Wenatchee. Register early to avoid late fees and before January 25th to receive a t-shirt. 9-11:30am, $15 to $30.
February 16: Sweetheart Dinner—Icicle Ridge Winery
Celebrate your sweetheart with this 5-course dinner paired with IRW wines. Take advantage of case discounts. Register early, space is limited. 6:30pm, $75 per person.
