Every Thursday and Saturday in September : Resort Yoga - Sleeping Lady Resort

Thursday, September 5, 12*, 19 and 26 at 7:00 pm

Saturday, September 7, 14 and 21 at 10:00 am

Sleeping Lady Resort hosts an Intro to Vinyasa Flow class.  Drop-ins welcome.  Mats and props available for newcomers.   $8

 

Every Thursday in September : Leavenworth Farmers Market - Lions Club Park

September 5, 12, 19, & 26

All things local; fresh affordable veggies, hot foods, crafts and music await you. Come join the celebration of healthy food and community every Thursday.  4-8pm, FREE

 

Aug 31 thru Sept 1st:  Ol' Blue Tractor Tours-Wedge Mountain Winery

Take a tractor tour of Wedge Mountain Winery with winemaker Charlie.  Lots of fun stops along the way!  $12 includes glass of wine, kids free.

September 4th thru 8th: 18th Annual Leavenworth Quilt Show. Front Street Gazebo & Leavenworth Festhalle

Come meander throughout the show enjoying various quilt displays.  $5.00 for all 3 days

September 14th: Starstruck Annual Gala and Auction -Icicle Creek Preforming Arts

Fund raiser at Snowy Owl Theater.  Auction, wine and desert, fun for all. $100.+

 

Septerber14th: Sleeping Lady Organic Garden Tours -  Sleeping Lady Resort

Join garden manager, Eron Drew on a tour of the resort's two acre, certified-organic garden & greenhouse. Free

 

September 14th-15th: 5th Annual Cascade Couples Championship - Leavenworth Golf  Course.

This 2-day tournament is not only fun but is a fundraiser for Junior golf programs through the Leavenworth Golf Course.  $185-Member Couple/$195-Non-Member Couple 8:30AM

 

September 19th - 21st: Wenatchee River Salmon Festival - Leavenworth Fish Hatchery, 12790 Fish Hatchery Road, Leavenworth,WA, 98826

Come celebrate the return of the Salmon to the Wenatchee River,with food, entertainment, craft booths and outdoor activities for the entire family.

 

September 20th: Icicle Arts Gallery Recycled Arts Reception - 347 Division Street, Leavenworth, WA,

Opening reception for Icicle Arts famous Recycled Art gallery showing, heldd in conjunction with the Wenatchee River Salmon Festival. 5-7PM  Free, donations accepted

 

September 20th: Climate Changes and Arctic Ocean - The Barn at Barn Beach Reserve, 347 Division Street, Leavenworth, WA

Experience the changing arctic with Polar Science researcher Dr. Mike Steele. 3:30PM Free

 

September 23th: Ann Fisher-Wirth "The Ecopoetry Anthology" Presentation and Book signing - At Eagle Creek Winery, 10037 Eagle Creek rd.

Enjoy an evening outdoors at Eagle Creek Winery as we welcome Ann Fisher-Wirth for a definitive presentation on ecopoetry. 7-9PM Free

 

September 27th-29th: 50th Autumn Leaf Festival and Parade - Leavenworth

This is the longest running festival in Leavenworth and it is a must see event. Don't miss the parade that starts at noon on Saturday Sept 28th.

 

September 27th:  Nicholas O'Connell "Storms of Denali" Presentation and Book-Signing-  The Barn at Barn Beach Reserve, 347 Division Street, Leavenworth, WA

Join Nick as he explores questions of risk in life and in climbing through video, slides and reading of his book, Storms of Denali. 7-9PM Free

 

September 29th: 9TH Annual Just Plain Fun Run -Plain WA

Come enjoy the out doors during this 3 mile trail run and family walk.  $10/indiv, $20/family- all proceeds benefit Beaver Valley School.  Registration starts at 11AM day of race.
