Leavenworth Free Cross Country Ski Day: Jan 8th.

Been thinking about trying cross country skiing but haven’t gotten around to it?  Here is your chance to give it a try for free!  Ski For Health Day  is sponsored by The Leavenworth Winter Sports Club.

 

 

On January 8 from Noon to 3pm you can ski your way around the fish hatchery trails.  Local outdoor stores will have gear for you to use, skate and classic skis.  There will also be short mini lessons in both classic and skate skiing.  In addition there will be free ski waxing, waxing demonstrations, and snacks from Sleeping Lady Resort.

Don’t forget about other upcoming skiing events including Chicks On Sticks and Hog Loppet.  The Leavenworth Hog Loppet bus is already 10% full!
