I don't think the issue of overbuilding condos in Leavenworth is one of lack of consumer confidence. We have a small market where about 20 condos sell each year. If 60-80 new condos come on the market all at once, it's just too many for the market to absorb. Pricing them hundreds of thousands above current prices certainly won't help either. It looks like the USA may suffer for a few years to come, though, but once confidence returns to the market, the existing supply will likely get eaten up pretty quick...
