Hello Geordie,

I 100% sites cannot replace human interaction... and a good agent is invaluable to buyers.

A site like ours allows a consumer to compile a list of properties from multiple sources they are interested in to provide to the agent.

This helps the agent understand what the buyer is interested in and also gives the agent the opportunity to shine with local knowledge. This creates the win / win balance between consumer and agent.

Raj-
Thanks for visiting. I'm not sure how updating weekly from the MLS is better than updating every 24 hours like Windermere or Realtor.com do. Neighborcity.com doesn't look like it has anything at all to offer someone looking for a home in Leavenworth or Lake Wenatchee.

"Sometimes those Big Boy website are not up to the minute current on new listings. Since they sweep so many MLS servers, they may only sweep a certain areas MLS once a day."

While this may true for sites like Trulia who use listings are an aggregate of mortgage companies mortgage companies, but sites like the one I work for, www.neighborcity.com draw their listing directly form the MLS's which require is us update weekly.

Jessie-
Thanks for introducing us to retrove. I don't think that vertical search is the answer, but we'll see what the market thinks. You have done a good job aggregating the websites, but I think real estate is more likely to be hyperlocal and consumers really need an advocate who can put their boots on the ground to find them what they are looking for. Retrove won't help them sort through expired listings or tell them about the lot on Shugart Flats with a sign on it.
