This is a great resource for your buyers Geordie.

Re: searching - that is annoying isn't it! What is frustrating to me sometimes is when a home is listed as a lakefront, and it is actually a lakefront on a small lesser known lake, but it also has rights to Lake Wallenpaupack, our main "lake" - the home has Wallenpaupack as the "waterway" but it's actually a lakefront on a different lake.

Talk about confusing! The IDX systems need to be revamped with the buyers in mind! There should be an option for multiple waterways, if applicable (here it is...). Also, a distinct search for Riverfront IS a necessity.

A reader pointed out that you can't search my website for waterfront homes or land. Ouch! This is a problem with the IDX technology that my website (and every other local real estate site) uses. So feel free to email me if you are interested in a list of current riverfront homes or lots. I think I have an idea for a workaround, but it may take a while to implement.
